Briarwood Draft Ponies

We've got the awesome family/team from Briarwood Draft Ponies to bring their horses to the Kentucky Derby party on Saturday, May 3rd. They will be at South Shore Social to show off their horses and give rides to families and kids of all ages.

Come out and support this local family who's a two-time world champion and current reigning champs of the Haflinger and Hitch Pony Championship Series.

Rides start at 3pm! We'll see you for the Kentucky Derby party this Saturday!

The Magical Meadows

This Saturday at the Kentucky Derby party, we're bringing awareness and raising money for The Magical Meadows. They offer therapeutic horseback riding for for children and adults with physical and mental challenges.

All the money raised in our horse racing game at the Derby party will go to this great organization. Join us on Saturday, May 3rd from 4pm to 7pm for the Kentucky Derby Party and the VIP Experience.Image

RACE FOR PRIZES

We're bringing back the popular cruise ship horse racing game!

Bid on one of the six horses to buy your spot onto the race track. All the money raised will go to Magical Meadows therapeutic horseback riding for children with physical and mental challenges.

The six owners get to name their horses, select their jockey, and race down the track for a chance to win Derby gift baskets. (don't worry, we use dice to move spaces and won't make you run in your fancy outfits :-)

Our Vision: We envision a culture in which the definition of healing is not limited to traditional medicine – a culture in which “healing” is understood to encompass immersion in the natural world as a way to experience physical, mental, and spiritual peace.

Who We Serve: The Magical Meadows is proud to serve children and adults with different abilities, at-risk youth, veterans and first-responders.

Our History: Magical Meadows was created by Tammy Stackhouse in 2007 out of a love for horses and a belief that getting away from the noise and busyness of our everyday lives to connect with the natural world has the power to heal. Nestled on 41 acres of rural farm land and meadows in Warsaw, this is the perfect place to experience true peace and serenity alongside a team of staff, volunteers, and horses that feel more like a family.
